CELEBRATING 160 YEARS OF THE PALISADE BOAT CLUB
Lots of people helped make this year’s Opening Day a success to mark the 160th Anniversary of the Palisade Boat Club. Some notable mentions are: Alan Portanova, Catherine, Chris Thomas, Dan Larkin, Finn, Gerard, Jacek, Jo, Keely, Nick, Randy, Roel, Sean, Steve and Taylor.
A few people made an exceptional effort, putting in 10+ hours of work, we couldn't have had a successful event without them. They handled all the shopping, food prep and assembly, the grill masters, organization and coordination, flyers - designed, professionally printed and distributed, drinks, bartending, charcuterie slicing and dicing! Thank you Chris Grieco, James Sexton, Justin, Pat, Tatjana and Tracy for the amazing effort you all put in to make the event special!
Sean and Jo brought the Pirate Cat to the float and let club members climb aboard and check it out. They even took people on a cruise to Alpine!
Keely, Randy and Tracy sold $930 in raffle tickets! Special thanks to James Sexton who won the 50/50 raffle and immediately donated it all back to the club, after having spent 6 hours behind a hot grill!
