Winter Vibes

The Hudson River flows every day in every season. PBC 2026 ANNUAL MEETING

On Saturday January 24th, we held our annual meeting of members and voted on our new board of directors. Join us in thanking the following members for their new and continued service: President Tom Minozzi, VP Roel Kunst, Secretary Chris Thomas, Treasurer Nicholas Reitter, Captain Randy Gunnell, Lieutenant Chris Grieco. Trustees: Patrick Minozzi (1) James Sexton (1), Taylor Pierce (2), Catherine Johnson (2), Tracy Broome (3), Gregory DuSablon Jr (3).


KAYAKING IN THE GALAPAGOS

Jason McGinnis shared these photos from his trip to the Galapagos, Ecuador. We invite all members to share photos of their boating adventures around the world!


NEW YEAR’S COLD WATER RESET

A crew of intrepid souls plunged into the Hudson River from our little beach on New Year’s Day. Which just goes to show you, you don’t have to choose between the Galapagos and the frozen Hudson, you can do both!


MEMBERS ON THE MOVE!

Members Justin Fornal has two upcoming events that you don’t want to miss!

Valentines Dinner at Fulton Fish Market February 14, 7pm

This formal dinner is served on the sales floor of America's largest fish market. Ticket includes unlimited fresh shucked oysters, bottomless sparkling wine and a delicious main course. VIP tickets include your own private hot tub for couples or parties of four.  Great event for couples, singles and groups. Everyone is welcome!

Mezcal Film Premiere at the National Arts Club February 20, 7pm

Free Event!  This is our spaghetti-western filmed on location in Oaxaca, Mexico.  The film is partnered with the tasting of 5 premiere mezcals. The NAC is another iconic NYC social club and their building on Gramercy Park is breathtaking. This is free! Reserve a seat now as they will soon be gone.

2026 FUNDRAISERS ANNOUNCED!

To build on the success of last year's fundraisers, we are sending the planned events for 2026 in advance. As the dates near, we will send out additional details.  If you'd like to get involved please contact Tracy Broome.

Refreshments will be served at all events and drinks will be available for sale. We will also have a 50/50 raffle and prize giveaways, so come and join us for some fun!


FIRST WORK PARTY OF 2026

Here’s Tracy, Taylor, Jay posing in front all the debris that was brought up.  A job well done!

We had our first official Work Party for 2026 on Sunday, the 11th at 11AM.  We removed debris and cleaned up the property.

HUDSON RIVER NEWS

There was a rock slide on January 9th around 8:15 am in the Palisades Interstate Park, near State Line Lookout, in New Jersey. The rockslide impacted around 50 yards of the Shore Trail, along the Giant Stairs. More information and pictures are here.
