AHOY, THE FLOAT IS IN FOR THE SEASON
Member Randy Gunnell reports the float went in the water on Sunday April 5th. After last year's Memorial Day launch of the float (given some needed repairs), it's very exciting to get back to an early opening to the season!
As usual, this was all thanks to the dedication of a bunch of club members! Over a couple of days the crew included: Alan, Anton, Chris Grieco, Chris Thomas, Ed Haller, Eddie Moroch, Francisco, Greg, James Sexton, Jason, Les, Randy, Roel, Taylor, and Tracy.
We saw an opportunity to get the float in once the weather cleared up and the tides were in our favor, so we took it. Check out the pictures that Tracy took of the work crew and Jason took of before and after views below.
WORK PARTY REPORT
Tracy reports that our April 11th work party had beautiful weather and a great turnout. We were able to clean both the inside and the outside of the club!
Thank you to everyone who showed up and put in a great effort. The club looks and smells great!
Big thanks to the work party crew: Andrew, Chris Grieco, Chris Thomas, Eddie, Fin, James Sexton, Jay, Lucas, Mike, Randy, Roel, Ryan, Sean, Taylor, and Tracy.
Over multiple days Les, helped by Roel and Tracy, removed a concrete slab outside the house and plan to put gravel in its place.
Two new rungs were made and donated by Francisco Martin, with Tracy assisting on the installation. Pics from Jason McGinnis.
Sean replaced an ice damaged mooring after our cold winter damaged one. Pics from Jason McGinnis.
CLUB BEAUTIFICATION
What makes our club special is the care that members show each and every day. Big thanks to Steve, Jorge, and Eddie who donated a new pool table cover. Thank you!
